Jessica
The positve output is on the master amp. Just dd1 that amp while they are strapped and you should be fine. Just don't use track 7 Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. n8ball2013
I would dd both of them though. Find out which amp has the lower voltage out clean and use that as my master. If you have the higher voltage as your master you may cause the other amp to put out a slightly dirty signal. It probably won't be much but if you are going through all that trouble might as well cross the ts and dot the is Quote THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. Jessica
True, but unless you use the 0db tone you will have overlap anyway and still risk clipping. But n8's idea is smart Edit. I meant to say 0db tone Edited February 24, 2014 by strangeduck Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Just don't use track 7 quick question here . the amps are the new sundown 5k so when i check the power out from the master do i need any thing else connected to the speaker out ? only reason i asked is i followed the sundown diagram on how to strapp expect i forgot to connect the negative speaker out form master to to slave and the subs went crazy lol. LOWHERTZ75
Your last reply to me answered your own question then lol not really lol. the question was not how to strap but the proper way to set the gains while strapped using the dd-
corona_jeff
If you setting the gain on a strapped pair, you treate it like a single amp. The master gain controls both amps
