I ask this cause I current have an rf 1500bd. I can either wire my sub 4 ohm (500rms) or I can wire 1 ohm (1500rms).... Now I don't play my system much cause of my kids and I do plan on the big 3 and an xsD3100 when money allows me to but how should I wire my amp in the meantime??

Rck'nRF Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 I'm pretty certain your 1500bd is 750watt@ 4ohms.. My 1000bd is 500watts4ohms I think most stock alts are in the 80-120amp range (my truck is @ 104amps max.)

Aj11 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 i have stock alt, 136amps big 3 2 bats and I'm running a ct 1400.1 at 1ohm no problems at all. i don't drop below 13.3 ever! not bad for stock jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
