All of the t-lines I've built have been beautiful all the way to 100Hz. Even the one in my truck in the above video, and it's tuned to 29Hz. They actually do very well above tuning and they do well for about an octave below.

As for tuning, it's fine to tune below Fs but they don't do well above it.

This one for the X18 is gonna be a low note beast.

Thanks for all your help. What your telling me is what I was thinking. The problem with t lines is everyone makes you second guess yourself. I decided after seeing your videos I was just gonna do it.

Ps: Went to Freezefest this weekend in Lebanon, Tn. There was a Jeep Cherokee that was all CT Sounds. They had 4 tropo 15's. It sounded phenomenal. Very cool jeep. True ground pounder. Chow Time Car Audio.

the jeep wit the huge ass octo port?

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. oh.. wait.. naw.. that wasnt weird..

He probably tearin dat ass up every night. Reason for "insomnia" Ain't sleeping cause he's like a horny hamster on coke.

Awesome. The Tropos are the entry level subs, lol.

I was actually pretty impressed with the 8s I tested.

Do they have another 15? They didn't sound entry.

Yes. The Tropos you heard would be the v1s, rated at 250rms. There are also Strato v1s, rated at 500rms. Both are available now. The Tropo v2 will be rated at 500, the Strato v2 at 1000, the Meso at 2k and the Exo at 3K. The v2 subs should be in this week (hopefully) and the Meso and Exo in March and April, respectively.

Tropo v1 8 (don't have a pic of the 15):

Strato v2 8 & 12 (15 is mounted in a demo t-line but the 12 has the same motor):
