I just upgraded from 2 RF p3 subs to 2 RF T! 12" subs and have been looking at box design ideas. Does anybody have any recommendations? It would preferably be ported and will be going into a 99 Grand Cherokee.

Post the area measurements you have to work with and I'm sure you will get what you need.

Please Post Max LxWxH you want to use and what you would like the tuning to. With that info give it a couple days and some one should be able to help you. Its easy and cheap to build a box^_^

it can be anywhere around 4ft. wide and 4 ft long and height about 2 1/2 ft. I have plenty of space like i said its going into the back of a jeep grand cherokee. Im really just looking for some ideas of designs and the best dimensions to use. I have looked on the RF box advisor and have already gotten some kind of idea of what they recommend, but I have seen some pretty cool box ideas here before so I figured i would ask. I would most likely want it to be tuned between 34-40 hz

I was gonna be lazy and have my local custom sound shop build it for me, but then they told me it would be about $400 so I decided that I would save $300 and do it myself.

Not only that but I think it is fun as hell to build boxes. I suck at designing them and won't even touch that aspect of it but building them is pure sex

Did you get the T!D212s or T1D412s. I have a T1D212 in 1 ohm mode off a T1500 @ 1950 watts, a bit over powered but i am careful with the settings, Gains set with DD-1 on SQ track. I have to rebuild box due to tuned @ 47hz. It was my first box and screwed up on the math. Next box will be 2 12s but thinking Fi Qs. But good subs and will sound good in a SUV in the right enclosure and power. Just take your time and do research before you build. Lots of great help here on SMD. Here a pic of where i went wrong. LOL I just want people to learn from mistakes i have made. But on the bright side i can build better and louder now.
