ImaNoob
So in the mix of buying all the stuff for this build i didnt even think about the remote wire.. What would be a appropriate size wire to run to my turn on relay.. 3 RF amps ,VM,and probably a hand full of fans. The wire i have now is really small, im not sure on the size. Can a pioneer handle this output ? 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Xs3400 1500BDCP FI BL 12 3sq @ 32hz Rockford t675 T400.2 Stinger Deadner Build Log Here
Karkov
With a proper relay yes. You could use as little as 22 gauge IMO but I use 14 gauge CCA. Either way this size wire is so cheap, run the biggest you can fit if you want. Don't need anything bigger than 12/14 IMO, just a waste. hammiethebasshead
a good relay or two and some 14 gauge should do the trick imo once you get a speaker moving so hard that its possible to make tinsels slap, you are already kissing "SQ" goodbye. Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem. You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Because getting punched in the mouth hurts.
fox_racin4
If your running a relay you wont have to worry about the HU. Even if you didnt have a relay the worst that happens is the hu wont turn the amps on. How are you hooking all the amps remote wire up? Jumping from amp to amp? Or one wire into a block then X amount out? If jumping amp to amp juat make sure both wires fit into the terminal 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
ImaNoob
Relay is good, purchased from CE auto...You think the deck can handle 14 gauge( should say the draw from amps and fans) 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Xs3400 1500BDCP FI BL 12 3sq @ 32hz Rockford t675 T400.2 Stinger Deadner Build Log Here
