locomanny569 Posted March 1, 2014 Report Share Posted March 1, 2014 How is it going guys, I was wondering how do you guys go about measuring your trunk? most importantly how do you guys get the curves in your trunk? what I have been doing for curves is cutting till it fits right which takes forever. some times if I get lucky I pull the trunk liner and get it from their. I wanted to know if you guys have any tips for me? I have tried foil which doesn't always work.. P4killer_ Posted March 4, 2014 Report Share Posted March 4, 2014 Sometimes I make a map. Like the wall goes straight for 6 inches. At 6 inches a curve begins. At 7 inches im .25 inches off the original line. At 8 inches im .6 inches off. The curve stops at 16 inches. Taking many measurements and writing it down to kinda map out w.e it is im trying to form to. Relate that to card board or paper or like .25inch plywood or w.e and with a marker mark any areas the need to be adjusted. A big line around a curve for a lot of trimming. A thin line for a hair off. Arrows and notes for certain little things. Adjust and refit.
