Is there any benefit from using a carbon fiber dust cap???

Unless your currently doing high 170s and have crazy back pressure on your burps to fold your cone, its not really helping structurally.

And there is not much of a weight difference between a polypropylene cap or a carbon cap.

So just for looks.

i was wondering the same thing ill be getting my recones tomorrow from tantric. ill prolly use there dustcap but would like to get 7-8" cf later would i loose anything from just glueing the other ones on top of the tantrics? "re destroyers 4k rms "

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
