pioneerforlife
Looks good. But what bcbrassard was talking about is that the actual round part on the knob comes off so all you need to do is drill a small hole and then put the knob back on. But I like how you mounted it because you can see the whole thing. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud
bcbrassard
Thank you! I am glad someone got what i was asking! ha ha I know how you mounted it, and it looks ok, i was just asking if it would have come apart for a cleaner install look. I tried to find a pic of mine but dont have one. Tuned in for build.

I tried taking my knob off but it wouldn't, the body was molded together and i think they glued the knob on so unfortunately i wasn't able to mount it through a small hole and put the knob back on but im happy with how it turned out im gonna fill the small cracks with some type of black silicone adhesive so it looks a little cleaner "Toyota Camry rebuild page 21 (link)http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183768-94-crossfire-camry-18s-walled-singer-alt-has-arrived-rebuild-starts-pg-10/page-21 PIONEER DEH-P8400BH 2 CROSSFIRE C5 1700D 2 CROSSFIRE C7 18 HOOD. JEFFYBOI
Well I thought about buying a distribution block for the batteries and amps and W/E I put in the back but then I thought I work in a industrial electrical supply warehouse and I got a ton of 1/4" thick aluminum bus bar laying around, so with this wood and aluminum bus im going to custom make a nice bus bar to land all my lugs and connections. Not much to look at now but wait till its done. OK so I havnt been working to much on the bus bar but I made a little progress today.. Still more work to do.. JEFFYBOI
Well I found a nice set of 17" rims for cheap but they were a universal 4 hole lug when I need a 5... So I guess the old rust aluminum rims need a little plasti dip until I can find a deal on some cheap rims. Still need a little tire shine on the tires but the rims look a lot cleaner, im happy for now. JEFFYBOI
good job, clean ass work, I will do the same to the caprice wheels I will paint them black.Thanks. Yeah it makes it look a lot cleaner then the rusty aluminum stock rims. I did 2 coats which was about 3 cans which only costed me $20. Im happy with how they turned out. A lot more work to do. Getting ready to throw all my components in and more sound deadener.
