alaskanzx5 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 Use Torres for the net volume then google search car audio port calculator, first choice should be a page with a min port area calc and a port night calc. It's the one I use, I usually check tuning with other calculators to and take an average for a good estimated tuning freq. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

alaskanzx5 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 I can figure out net volume but would need to know length of port and port height. How many baffles? Bracing? Sub displacement? Woods thickness? t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
alaskanzx5 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 For the port you can google detach port calculator and use a few different ones to get a rough idea. Phones work for that t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Marquisboys Posted March 6, 2014 Author Report Posted March 6, 2014 .75 wood thickness. 1 baffle. Height of port is 22. Think sub disp might be .33 . And cannot remember size of bracing there isnt much in it. Im gonna end up building a need box for my mayhem but just wanna know what im working with now like tuning and how big internal box size is 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
Marquisboys Posted March 6, 2014 Author Report Posted March 6, 2014 Soo if you go on to RE box calculator and put in w=37 h=25 d=23 because my box is port up sub up and in there the pic port facing is different, so thats why i had to switch the h and d around.. thickness is .75 and port width is 4.5 and the port length 2 is at 0.. is my cu ft right and hz? Im sure my box is not at 30 hz lol it plays lows but doesnt kill them and close to 4k is going to that sub 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
alaskanzx5 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 The re Buzz calc isn't accurate. When I cam get on my computer I'll check your volume and the port tuning. It won't be 100% accurate but I use a few different tuning calc to get a rough idea of what the tuning is. Net volume should be close but not knowing 100% sure on displacement it could be of slightly but not enough to make a huge difference, most likely not a difference to the ear at all. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
alaskanzx5 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 So the port opening is 4.5 x 23.5 and it's 22"long right? t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Ahmed Johnson Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 I ran all measurements through Torres exactly as I see it. I came up with 10.38 cu ft. at 35.45 hz.
