So if it goes for daily driver I would want the extra cooling and spiders

Depends. How much power will you be running.. and do you plan on upgrading?

Heres how I see it.. If you have the cash to blow, add cooling and spiders for example. It'll help resale value, and allow you to upgrade to more power in the future.

Oh, so like 2200wrms either way. ME personally, Id upgrade them.. just for the piece of mind and the increased resale value. How much more are the upgrades, like $40?

Edit: Do you need the upgrades though? Doubtbtful..

For a daily I would say the chamfer and cooling are probably a reasonable minimum, then the spider is only another $5.

Upgrades add about 75 so on two subs its 150 not a little dough when I'm already planning to spend around two grand and and my budget was one grand

I had 1 Q 18 fully upgraded in a ported box and loved it. Great subs
