Yea man, I am kinda scared to cut lol, I dont wanna mess anything up to the point of not being replacable... So you're saying you cut out all of the metal on the back deck? or just the part where your blow through is?  Would I be better off just replacing my 6x9's and cutting the blow hole through the plastic and the metal? Basically keep the plastic stock look, cut out the hole and cover the hole w/ the matching grill cloth...?

New project in the works ;)

Yea manG, I wanna learn how to do all this stuff... I definatly dont feel like spending $600-1000 for a box and a cut through in my car lol. I'm trying to learn to do all this like Meade and everyone else on here does... I'm just trying to get informed before I do anything stupid. HAHA. I think it'll be beneficial for me to know how to do all of this stuff because at my age and I look around and see what our future generations are headed for because everyone is afraid to do manual labor now and would rather have mommy and daddy pay for it to get done. If my generation (17 years old) doesn't do something fast, our country's headed for a major downfall. Just my .02 cents  ;D

thast cool, i wasnt dissin you. i just didnt want you to vut p ur car without knowing how to do it correctly.

live and learn.

try making some pods out of fiberglass, and play around with it, once you feel absolutley comfortable with glass then apply it to the car, as far as cutting(metal), i think u should wait on that for a bit unless ur good with an grinder

I can figure out the grinder, my dad's a construction superintendent so he's all up to date on the tools and such. I just hope i can talk him into letting me do it lol. I have to find a way to get the bass into my car other then using just sound deadener because w/ my last system (2 kenwood 12's on a kenwood amp) the car just rattled like a tin can and sometimes you couldnt even hear the bass it was so muffled and you can only feel it rattling the floor. Thanks for all your help so far manG I really appreciate it, if only I appreciated classes at school this much... lol.

x2. maybe u shouldnt even touch ur rear deck and just make the pods around the 6x9 holes. then u can have 2 blow throughs, and no cuttin, and a rear fill
