bcbrassard Posted March 9, 2014 Report Share Posted March 9, 2014 I just installed this in my brothers 09 Ranger single cab. Nice HU, clean sounding but minimal EQing. Just curious if anyone has used it and there thoughts on this HU. My brother got it for it phone sinking capability. I didnt even get a chance to put a DVD in it, just DD-1 it, and ran a Eagles CD on it to see how the P683s sounded off the PBR300x4 and the sub i put it in. ParDeus Posted March 10, 2014 Report Share Posted March 10, 2014 Well, I don't have direct experience with AppRadio3, but I had AppRadio1, and it was a complete clusterfuck. Pioneer dropped support after a short time, while admitting they fucked up horribly. Something like 85% of units were defective. I wish you luck. I installed it in my brothers Ranger and was just wonder if anyone on SMD had personal experience with them. I run the 80-PRS and would never want what he got.
