audiofanaticz Posted March 16, 2014 Report Share Posted March 16, 2014 As long as you have proper port area you will be fine. 45s are over rated if not done right by testing and testing and more testing, but sadly everyone wants them no matter what you tell them. However the majority of the time people build a box then decide after its built to toss them in the box not taking the displacement into account which shrinks the box volume, changes the tuning, and makes the box less efficient which will hurt the spl of the box.
