DD, Soundqubed, American Bass, & Massive audio subs look exactly alike, Prebuilt subs from china. But really, the only complaint I have is that if it take 2,3, 4+ months, just wish they listed the actual wait time when buying I don't put images in my signature to let people know I mean business. DD, Soundqubed, American Bass, & Massive audio subs look exactly alike, Prebuilt subs from china. i know the baskets arent. the other parts such as coils and such i would say are built here. but thats a whole different story and you will get people in here arguing about that for hours. the arguiment here was that customer service and contacting some of these companies is impossible and it seems a lot fo people had problems with certain companies. if the product works is good and can get in a good time frame i coudl care less who builds it. i really could give a shit if its chinese korean japenese. the point is that i can get it in a reasonable time. SO, knowing they are built to order I am not displeased at all provided they come pristine. Fi would have to raise prices to hire someone to man forums, email and phones for better cs. Then people will complain about prices. Bump4life Posted April 18, 2014 Report Share Posted April 18, 2014 to be honest after looking at fi prices, id say the sp4 is a pretty good pricepoint for that woofer. but the team woofer? id take a DD 9900 for that same price pretty much all day. 700 is a lot for any woofer. The DD has $1,109 for a 15" on their website. that is msrp. i think thats what gives people this false perception of dd being so expensive. find a good dealer near you or know the right people on line. th e9900s can be had in the 700s all day. after looking at crescendo bc2k. id take a dd m2b over that as well. those can be had for mid 500s new shipped. the bc 2k is 480 and you have to pay an additoinal amount for a .5 ohm warranty lol. thats hilarious. yea dd is slightly higher but its really not that much higher compared to others. anyone who would really want dd can get a good price if they dig for it. the problem is they way they run thier business and i completely agree it can be shitty at times cause prices are all over for the stuff being sold. im done talking about this company vs that i got derailed. my bad. at the end of the day dc power website says out of stock of all xp alts. goodluck toanyone trying to buy them. for me, well lets jsut say i found a place to get a "270xp" in disguise. TeamHT Posted April 18, 2014 Report Share Posted April 18, 2014 I've said it before, and I'll say other again. If you want something right now, don't order DC unless it is in stock and ready to ship. Audio is a passion for the guys at DC but is not their bread and butter. I won't say anything either way but don't order DC and then upset when it isn't shipped the next day. Or you get a call every minute of every day. I know the wait sucks, not saying it doesn't, but if its too much for you go with a different company. They are sending me a gm voltage regulator for me to put inside the alternator and wire in another plug on the car. Hopefully this works if not I am asking for a full refund and going with Mike Singer for an alternator. Good luck to everyone else having problems too.
