Lead acid batterys

Recommended Posts

I have a couple lead acid batteries laying around. Wondering if its safe to run multiple inside the car, until i can save some some more for some group 31 agms'.

The batteries would be put into the seat wells and well secured.

i just need something to hold my voltage until i can get a high ouput alt.

Opionions on this?

I know ESR rates are crazy different and so are the discharge rates and amp hours..

Is this even safe for my amps and electrical or would i have to charge them everynight with a battery charger?

What do you mean by seat wells? They release fumes and you don't want them in the cab with you.

750??! Yeah, fuck that. Fuck this website, fuck SMD, fuck Steve, fuck all of his butt buddy mods, and their couches.

Not a safe idea unless you can put them in a sealed container that can vent outside of the cab.

So its not a safe idea?

They vent hydrogen gas. Somewhat flammable from what I hear.

You are correct. Hydrogen Sulfide and a few other nasties.

Flammable and corrosive. about the last thing you'd want inside a sealed environment like the passenger compartment or trunk of a car. No where you're going to be sitting or sleeping (so not a good idea to use them inside a house either).
