If so, just match up specs ... A little more here or there does not hurt. It's perfectly acceptable to get a new tiedown and remove the stock battery insulator/cover to make things work. For example my own car, original battery was a group size 35, but I managed to fit a group 34 battery in there. SnowDrifter Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 If it were me, I'd start by doing the following: Do your "Big 3" Upgrade your front battery Check over said shop's wiring - make sure connections and grounds are up to snuff Possibly replace said shop's POS wire Invest in a volt meter of some sort and hook it up to your amp. That way you know what voltage your amp sees.
