Motorboat KER
Powering 2 JBL gt5-15 300 rms (1200 peak) subs. I was thinking just a 1000 w amp would do? Single or mono block is fine. I am on a budget so 150 is preferable

kirill007
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_43360_JBL-GTO-501EZ.html There you go, a amp that will power the subs properly and costs you less then 150dollar. (and has good quality) Easy gain setting, easy crossover setting and a bassboost that you shouldn't touch. Or you can take his bigger brother if you want to have more power eventhough you won't hear a difference between 500W and 750W. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_43362_JBL-GTO-751EZ.html Doesn't get better dollar per performance. Guest
so you're looking for a 1000w amp? not a sub? your title says 1000w sub. you need 600w at 2 ohms. soundqubed 1200 will work well. http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-1200D-Amplifier_p_30.html edit: for $150 you're likely not going to find jack diddly of anything worth not pissing on that does 600w at 2 ohms, brand new. you have to pay to play. You will not find a quality amp for 150 unless you buy one used.
