ModestDb
Example...a soundstream rubicon 2500 amp gut shot, you don't see any runs of mid gauge wire inside. At least I haven't seen one with wire inside yet... and then other amps like saz, dd, dc, sq/aq, etc...all seem go have runs of wire inside. Not just quality stuff...I've seen it inside hifonics, mb quart, audiopipe, etc too. Not picking on the rubicon, it's just the freshest image on my mind. I can find a host of other amps I notice like this if I do some digging. So what's the deciding factor in whether or not an amp gets large wire inside and what role does it play in the grand scheme of things? Advantages or disadvantages. Just curious. 4 American Bass VFL 8" at 0.5 ohm Soundstream Tarantula 3000.1D at 0.5 ohm 32 hz ported box designed by Mark at Car Audio Fabrications XS D1200 secondary with Stinger isolator

Nick580
They use rails as opposed to runs of wire.

RooTxBeeR
that makes sence wonder witch has more resistence though I would think wires, since it is not a slid chunk of copper, which is what a rail is. I could be wrong however :/ On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol.
