Amart88 Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Just got my other BC3500 hooked up. Each amp is running 2 Zcon 18's. I wired it up alone to test if it worked. It did. When I hooked them both up and turn up the bass, the notes get sort of out of phase sounding. Like chattering sound. instead of "boom boom" they go "boom boom...boom boom" I double checked everything. I know they both work. Also sounds like I am losing a great deal of output. The woofers are bareley moving. I have them run seperatley at 1 ohm each. I may try them strapped. The one 3500 alone at .5 worked fine on all 4 but now with both of them the bass is fucky. Any thoughts? My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

Almost sounds as if one amp is putting out signal a tiny bit later than the other. EDIT: they have a phase knob. between 0 and 180. Not a switch. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

Colin - STAPUFT Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Oh- Crescendo BC3500s have a phase knob/dial. From 0-180. Make sure they are both set the same. Assuming both amps are dialed in together- like 0 degrees on one is 0 degrees on the other.... That COULD be something crazy that you may have to dial them in to get them working together. Follow me?
