mid's and high's problem

vw passat

Recommended Posts

the hu x-over points and slopes are set (exact)

the dials on the amp arent....

and they could be used in conjunction to create different slopes (ie- set both to 60hz with 12db slopes to create 24db slope)

op- set the hu x-over like i said, you can then tune on the fly instead of getting to your amp if you want to tweek something-

hope this is the last question :) on my hu I set rear and front @ 60hz with 12db slope and I don't use the hpf on my amp. I leave it at hpf from my amp or @ full? and with 60hz the tweeters are going to work properly? sorry im asking but I don't know nothing on this things thanks

Set it to full on the amp. The crossovers that are wired between your speakers and amp already separate the correct frequencies going to your tweeters.

Also, never knows best. Good explanation.

NEVER KNOWS BEST you gave me a great information that nowhere I was going to find it. the last question even the amp of my sub can do the same put the freq all the way up instead of make it 80hz on my amp and use the hu freq ? cause on the hu x-over there is rear, front (hpf) and sub (lpf). thanks sir
