whatusay45
My crescendo 800.4 went into protect today and I have no clue why. Grounds are OK amp was never hot. Never even got into clipping. It kinda just stopped playing. The amp even stays on when the remote is removed.

RooTxBeeR
Let me ask why you believe you never went into clipping? Also, do you have a volt meter inside your vehicle? whatusay45
Yes I do. Voltage never dropped below 13.6 and the amp itself has clipping indicators and I always set my gains below that.

RooTxBeeR
Amplifier clipping indicators are never accurate. I set my amp with the DD-1, my clipping light almost always flickers or comes on. Is there anything you changed or added before this happened? whatusay45
No nothing changed?. It's weird because it won't come out no matter what I do. And the channel 1 clip indicator stays on even if the remote is disconnected.
