Use packing peanuts to fill it and then put them into a square container to get the volume.

I'm not super concerned tho. I'll probably just cut the port as long as possible

Been pretty busy with school stuff but was able to get some stuff done.

Got some glass laid down on the outside yesterday

thats 2 layers and 3 in a few spots.

Will probably do 3 more layers since I have a ton of supplies left still. Then cut out the holes and do 2 more on the inside.

One thing I learned from laying tape for making my mold was to use a sharpie to draw your outline before laying fiberglass, just because trying to draw a nice clean line after its down can be more difficult. Yours came out great though no criticism intended, just something that made my life a little easier!

Itll be bedlined, just because Ill actually be using the cargo area now and its gonna get hit and dinged so I dont want to be worried about it having nice vinyl or anything on it.

And damn, drawing a line on the tape would have made it much easier, I had to throw the mold back in and guess where my line needed to be. Great tip for future projects thanks.

So I should probably be more focused on finals, but priorities...

More progress, did 3 more layers outside, 4-6 (6 in the center where it has the largest span) layers in some places over the weekend.

So it ranges from 6-9 total layers.

Then cut out the holes (sorta, didnt go all the way to the flush ring yet.)

Got some resin and glass on the inside tonight...

Trying to stick your hand in this thing with a paintbrush sucks.

Also got the direct leads for the subs soldered and heat shrinked.

Thanks, this is my first try at glassing so Im pretty happy with how it turned out. There are definitely some things I wish I wouldve done differently but Ive learned a lot
