micb Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 Hi Dude, very nice scores! How are you/how did you solve the roof problem? How come the original wood + expanding foam roof did not work? Too much foam not enough wood? My saying: "A boom a day keeps the hearing away."

How come the original wood + expanding foam roof did not work? Too much foam not enough wood? Thank you kind sir. I have a welder coming this week to weld plates over the cracks in the roof and then i am going to spread sound deadening paste over the entire ceiling.I will have pics of the process when it getting done. I think the main problem that the wood and expanda foam didnt work was that there was dynamat still on the ceiling when i did that.I think the expanda foam stuck to the dynamat but not the ceiling. So when the roof was flexing it was starting to peal the dynamat off.It would of worked alot better if the expanda foam was in contact with the metal and not the dynamat.
