Nightshade
I would try 3 4" aero's however I feel that 4 cubes is a bit large for 2 12s IMO. I happen too run my pair of sa12s in 2.8 cubes with 2 4" aero's tuned to 37hz. The box I have will do almost a 151 @ 46hz on the dash sealed. You don't always need a large box like a lot of people think. If you are interested in the lows then a larger box will help but it isn't necessary. My 4 sa12 box that I ran a pair of 3500s on was 6.8 cubes with 6 4" aero's and was tuned to 35hz. It peaked at 42hz and did very well. However, I personally have no interest in playing frequencies below 35hz at full volume so this is why my boxes and up on the smaller side. That and these smaller enclosures allow the sub's to handle the crazy amount of power I'm throwing on them and not separate the triple joints on the first note. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

I do like the lows. However, with displacements the volume comes out to about 3.3 cu. ft. These subs recommend a 1.5-2.0 cu ft each. So 3.3 should be just fine in this scenario.. F O.
