Need box design for single Soundqubed hdc18....

So I did some calculations and the baffle would need a 59 deg slant to allow the diameter of the sub to fit the baffle, calculating the gross internal volume of that situation it gives around 5.2 cubic feet (no double baffle), if you take away port displacement it will drop even lower so no it can't be done on those dimensions but a Zv3 18" would fit right in (about 4.5 net). If you can't get much more airspace, you will have to stick with the original plan or go 2 12s.

The following is submitted only for space analysis and not to be built as is not structurally sound as shown, would need to give a cutsheet with bracing and building details, the cutsheet Torres shows is invalid and tuning shown is not completely accurate subwoofer needs to be reverse mounted so that needs to be considered to determine if it's all fitting:

Why don't you just recone the 18 down to a 15 or 12? With that you can always keep the 18in basket and make it a 18 again later down the road but still have a usable sub now.

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

Well, just got a call from AQ...they don't have the parts for the 18 and they don't do a dual 2 ohm aluminum coil. Sooooo, I went with the dual 2 15 w/ copper coil. Joex- will that be an easier design to fit my application?

That's actually going to be harder, each need at least 3.8 cubes net, can't think of a way to find you 7.6 net after displacements on those dimensions, 2 12s is what can be placed in there and would be as good as one 18" those need about 5 net together which is what you do have space for. HDC4s would be nice.
