hdorre
I just bought (4) 4 ohm Crescendo PWX 6.5s (2 per door) and have a pair of Hertz HiEnergy HT28 Tweeters. Ill have 2 mids per door and tweeter per a pillar. The amp Ill be using is a Populus Audio 100.4.. Its rated for 100x4 @4 and 150x4 @2 all at 12.8 volts Id have each pair of mids wired at 2 ohms on 2 channels, and a tweeter wired at 4 ohms on the remaining 2 channels. Now, for the questions.. 1) What Im worried about are the tweeters not "keeping up" with the four Pro Audio mids. What are your thoughts on this? 2) Do these tweets like to be mounted on axis or off axis? I couldn't find much info regarding this. hdorre
have you considered HLCD's??? I've looked, but I already had these. I was just curious whether or not the mids would overpower then. gr8handogoatness
I think you should be alright. But if you get them in and don't like them you could always sell them and get some super tweets, or even just another tweeter and mount next to the other. Mounting I would say aim at the dome light. You will probably want them on axis or close to it just to make sure they aren't overpowered but I think you should be fine. That's why I say dome light. finkster
Are you modding your pillars for these tweets? Try putting them in the dash factory locations first and see if that is good enough for you. You may not need to mod anything. Just try it first before making a permanent cut in those expensive pillars. PS I just found some black pillars in a junkyard down the street. They sell for big money on the forums. I'm going to go pick them up this weekend DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living

I hear that this may not be optimal for tweeters.. firing off the windshield.. which is why I'm looking to change things around. You could turn those pillars around haha.. True Black is worth more than all other interiors... luckily I have charcoal.
