JoshxKret Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 What is a good amp for 2 18's (Soundqubed HDC3 18's, 1500w rms and 4500w peak) The amp needs to wire at 1 ohm and be under $500, Any suggestions?
CleanSierra Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 Any of the Korean Jesus 3500 Watt amps. Sundown, Crescendo, Ampere, D.C., Soundqubed, etc. That well all get the job done very well. I have a Sundown SAZ3500 that will be running my pair of HDC3 subs. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

CleanSierra Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 Oh, and $500 will be hard to find a quality 3500 Watt amp for. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
SnowDrifter Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 Under 500 your only option is a used amp if you want enough power. John Fassetta Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 CT Sounds is a pretty new name to me that I've been hearing great things about. I just bought a CT 1400.1 after finding a cheap one used and seeing the amp test Tuesday on it. They're rated at 12.8v and supposedly the CT2500 does like 3900rms on 14.4v
Beanz Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 Lol 500 bucks huh. Like stated any 3500 Watt amp will do good I had a crescendo on those same style woofers and they liked it. Wasn't until I got my Phoenix gold elites 1 was when I really got them moving lol That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
jarrius Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 For 2 hdc3's you wil want around 2krms a for 1 sub so 3500 to 4k will be good. Cardboardcat15 Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 Used is your best bet for 500 bucks. You'll have a tough time finding a deal, but they happen. A used AQ3500 is probably your best bet. CleanSierra Posted April 6, 2014 Report Posted April 6, 2014 $550-580 is where the realistic budget will need to be for a quality amp. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
