jordan23 Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 is a mtx 9515 a worthwhile upgrade from a re srx 15. mtx is on 900 wrms and re on 350 wrms both in properly tuned boxes. im looking at picking up the mtx in the mtx box for 350 tomorrow. what would you recommend?

My buddy has a MTX 9512 running of an rf t1500.1bdcp @ 2ohm and it takes it all day long and my friend is always blasting the hell out of it in his gto. Still working great and he bought it used as well! Kind of a cool sub I think, has a 4" coil which i'm not about to start a disscusion on that but I don't think its that bad of a deal. As long as the box is decently built then that will make or break weather or not your getting a good deal. Hope its tuned right! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!
