cuetip
Well I have a couple dd baskets on some hdc3 magnets and was wondering if it's worth it to remove them, and add tc baskets or is there any benefits of having the DD baskets and just reconing them as they are, since it looks like I won't have very much excursion if I'm using the DD baskets
n8ball2013
Which baslet 4 spoke or the new ones. The basket isnt what's driving the lack of excursion more than likely. ChevyBoy95
even with 8-8.5" spiders, you can still get a hefty amount of excursion. The 10in spider on the Ti baskets just allows a bit more. DJL
The DD 12 spoke basket was used on the HDC3 series sub for several years and recones are available from Soundqubed/Audioque. You don't need a shim. You can also upgrade your sub with our new basket and recone kit. DJ
