tbeats Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Ok so I have two sundown sa12's duel 4 ohm on a sundown saz-1200d now current setup.. doesn't sound bad but everyone says the sa's need a little more power to truly get full potential... An yes they are ported to sa spec... So would the massive N3 be an improvement? Specs say 1400 rms at 1ohm...
tbeats Posted April 12, 2014 Author Report Posted April 12, 2014 I had one of the older massive amps the p1500.1 it was a really good amp for the price... I don't really know anything on the new nano amps they have now...with the saz-1200d I've heard it puts out around 1300 rms so Idk if its underrated as I've heard Idk if its worth swapping...an my system is tuned with a dd1 an a cc1 so I know I'm at full potential
ParDeus Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 it was a really good amp for the price... Classic. Op, I doubt you'll hear any difference. Only time I've ever heard a noticeable sound difference with 2 similar power rated amps, is if one is old school "high current", it usually sounds way better. Don't know why, either. Oh ya, ib4Nmf'nltt.
