14V Electrical gain ON THE METER???

HEy guys, don´t worry this isn´t a noob question, i know how a 14v-16v electrical works, i already have a mechman 270A alt for my explorer and also bought about 2 years ago a mechman 340A with external voltage regulator wich i haven´t installed, i was searching around the forum and haven´t found any info about gaining on the meter by going from 12v to 14v electrical.

For your information, my plan was to do a 16v electrical, but my new amplifiers are 12v versions and can´t handle anything above 16v , that´s why my plan now is to do 14v electrical, BUT, if you guys say going from 12v to 14v doesn´t gain that much, then i guess i would only buy some D3100s and that´s it, thanks a lot guys!!

i actually was thinking about you hommie, that´s a nice gain, should gain a little bit more on my application since the D1400s would be only for the 10ks right? i know you have your mids/highs amps on that 14v electrical and i wouldnt.

Also, what´s your voltage drop with those 6 batts? i can fit about 10 of them but i would have more power thanyourself, 2 10ks at .5 ohms a piece

I also run 1000 amps of alt and maxwell caps it will drop to batt resting voltage at idle got some new 6 phases in there haven't tested them yet I'll let u know .. Fulltilt cruising I'd only drop .2-.5v from 16.2
