I can't wait to call him a spud... no no, where the battery is grounded to is. because the clip is basically attached to the battery neg. if the car doesn't stall, you have enough voltage. CJ18
Why is there a need to call this guy an idiot? He is trying to get his amp tuned and is having a problem. Is offering simple help and possible solutions really that difficult or are some of your mornings going so shitty that you have to call this guy and idiot to make yourselves feel better? Not everyone knows everything, shit happens, and sometimes things dont work just right the first time. Way too much hate for a simple question and not enough help. CJ18
If your battery doesnt have a good ground your dd1 doesnt either. n8, I have used the dd1, dd1+, and the dyno with dd1+ without the battery itself having a frame ground to anything like that. Just the batteries being used for my test bank. As long as the amp had a solid ground connection on the battery, there were no issues. The first issue I see here is that there is still a speaker wire connected to the amp. Disconnect all wires from the amp and retest and see if the issue remains. matt14
I tuned 2 BC3500's a couple of times with no issues at all. Also a nendo 3k and two nendo 1000c4's. Again no issues. I would disconnect the speaker leads from the amp, ( although I think you said that you already did this ), and use the Amp ground. 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-
k3n12ock
I've had my bc3500 tuned a few times with different dd1s and ZERO issues so I'm guessing user error or a bad amp. 05 xB - (2) EVIL 18s - (2) BC3500s - NO WALL Channel 1: http://www.youtube.com/k3n12ock Channel 2: http://www.youtube.com/MrK3n12ock2
TRON
Like I said, check the DD-1 harness. If the wires are bad inside that RCA jack, it would be jumping the positive of the speaker output to the ground on the amplifier. I'm guessing that would cause an amplifier to go into protect, Avalanche Alpine Type S comps Alpine Type S 10'' Alpine MPR-F300 Alpine MRX-M50 Mechamn 270 XS Power d3400s
