dereileak Posted April 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 I clamped it with a dc clamp, the problem wasn't with it being a mechman, they build decent alts, but they made it to be regulated by my Mazda computer which won't allow the alt to do more then the stock alt, and after this was realized and going though 2 voltage regulators they stopped replying to my emails and I could never get them to answer the phone, left a few messages, still never replied, I got sick of that shit, and when it clamped at 110 it was at 11.8v. this was With a new gates fleetrunner green belt, New tensioner, and a 1/2 shorter belt. I contacted singer got it repowder coated, externally regulated and he even cut me some custom wishield sized red decals and a keychain all for $350, singer is the only guy I'm going through with alts from now on.
