bassaholicsfl
I think it would be pointless to do this. Your losing cone area for mid bass... its like inverting a sub in sealed box... 2001 Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

alaskanzx5
I was referring to alaskanzx5. Aj11, mount them normally. anyone have solid info on mounting components inverted? With out solid info I choose not to believe what is said in cases like this. purpose of mounting a sub inverted n a sealed box is to see some magnets and have a slightly smaller box since you would have no sub displacement. aj, try it out and tell us if it sounds different and how. Its a great idea and could gave good results but with out testing I refuse to believe that its pointless, stupid or a waste. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. _paralyzed_
It's a waste of time. I'm not saying that because I'm guessing, I'm saying that because I understand how speakers work. Don't you think that the thousands of people that have inverted subs have thought about inverting their mids and tried it?Your sound quality WILL suffer from inverting your mid. Isn't the whole point the best sound possible?
alaskanzx5
Me and aj have the same opinion on this. its worth testing, worst case is that he doesn't like the sound and turn them around as he said. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Aj11
i agree that inverted wont sound as good. but how much that's what i need to find out! jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
matt.b
If you have a trunk car just throw the seats up and open the trunk your speakers are now inverted
