KiKaZz74
My girlfriend currently lives with her grandma and theres no computer or internet up there. She uses her phone for all of her school work and social stuff. But right now shes using close to 10 gb data and getting charged $50 extra because theres no wifi or anything she can use. Im looking for a small laptop that she can use to do her work. She will pay for the internet since her phone bill would be considerably lower. The laptop I might talk to her and my family about putting in money for it as a graduation present. Things im looking for Under $400-450 Lightweight Has a full keyboard and # pad 13-14.5" screen possible the 15" range Backlit keys if possible 500gb or more HDD 2gb or more RAM Preferably Windows 7 Needs MS Office Webcam is optional. Touchscreen is nice but also optional. What are some that you guys can recommend that is able to satisfy most of those things? Laptops I have no real expew in so ill leave it to you guys. Cipher
If you are certainly strapped for cash i suggest looking hard at the Asus Transformer Book T100TA, anything from Lenovo. There are a few others I can suggest but would need to know hardware preferences. Also have you considered the possibility of looking at the Hybrid laptop/tables style of machines like the Asus mentioned above? Maybe a lower end Microsoft Surface? KiKaZz74
No internet in the house. Shes gonna get the lower end one from the company around here. Its $25 a month. And a laptop seems a bit better to do school work on. Everyone up that way that has wifi have it blocked and its pretty crappy signal.
