yea 2 per 5k would be better. 1 would help stabilize voltage though if you had electrical to support the 5k on its own. and do you well up into the 3/4 volume range

Snow don't you suggest a 100farad bank per 1k watts min?.

op, an alt and upgraded stock batt with 0gauge ofc might be all you need for that build. I'd go that route then add a second batt if dropping below 13v. If not then a 100+ cap bank could help stiffen up voltage at the amp.

Just 3 group 31 batteries and 270 amp alt.

i like to err on side of caution as well. ill be running 8 banks per 10k
