Im looking for a guide with the proper way to deaden a door. Ive read through 3 different ones now and there is conflicting information in them. I trust the members here. So if anyone can point me to a solid guide I would appreciate it very much.

Will be choosing a deadener tonight if anyone has any opinions throw those in also please. Right now I have SS Damplifier in my shopping cart ;)

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

A layer of cld tiles, CCF foam in between door panel and door. If you are wanting to use MLV place that on the door and CCF foam over that and then put door panel on.

Great place for an explanation.
