im guessing user error or faulty amp

again this post is not solely about the amp not being the best or what amps are. however the post is for me to better understand the relationship between subwoofers resistance changes and amps ohm loads please

4 subs at 1.4 is the same as 2 subs at 1.4 .. yes as the frequency changes so does the ohms.... usually higher then the 1.4 ohms the subs are at when there is no signal applied if the amp was 1 ohm stable it shouldn't of taken a dump at that ohms

OP, kyle is probably going to explain to you that you cant wire one amp to 1.4, and 2 amps to 1.4 with your subs.

since you have 4 dual .7 ohm subs, you can wire to .7 or 2.8 on one amp but not 1.4

with 2 dual .7 ohm subs you can wire two amps to 1.4 each or .35 each

think i did that right.

edit:

can should have been cant

with 4 subs he can get a 1.4 ohm load each sub wired to 1.4 each pair wired to 2.8 then parrallel the pair to 1.4
