Hey guys I'm new here but not to systems, I have a couple of questions, has any one use an audiopipe tsvr 12 are they any good? I keep getting a rattle from it, it's not blown and there's nothing loose, also are they good for pure loud bass for some odd reason it drops when the volume goes up. Any one has any idea or opinions? Thank you all in advance..

Anytime I've heard an audiopipe sub there was a nasty smell along with it

They are low quality

Your issue could be a dozen different things

To help you we will need more information

Pictures of the following will speed this process along....

1. Your amplifier settings

2. Your girlfriend

3. Your subwoofer box

4. Your amplifier ground

Thanks and goodluck

tune your amp.. could be youre clipping and also your voltage is hurting.. my bass would get low when my voltage would drop

Well thanks for the info but, voltage is fine, I checked already, there are not leaks in my box, made sure of that before woofer went in, as stated before the rattle seems to come from the woofer itself.. Even when I take the woofer out of the box it rattles a bit.... Also my girl is your sister so you should have pics of her already... ?

Take the sub out of the box and inspect very closely. Some subs have a ring around the outside of the spider that is glued to the basket and if it may of come loose its gonna make a rattle noise like your describing.

Pull the sub and check the coils with a DMM. How do you know the voltage is good? What are you dropping to?

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.
