I wouldn't do a 4th. From my understanding HDC3s were never meant to be in any type of sealed enclosure. I really don't think you'll be able to fit 4 15s in your trunk, HDC3s need alot of air space. Best bet would be 2 15s ported. Don't forget to upgrade your electrical, because with great power comes great electrical upgrades.

It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.

@smashedz28: I have a mechman 240 alt I'll have 4 runs of knu konceptz 0 gauge wiring 4 xs power 3400 in the trunk nd an additional high power batt n the front I've got the designs for a ported box it'll take up the whole trunk but I don't give a shit lol its 17.65ft³ so I got the room for it

@Boris the blade I had a design made up at a shop for me the box is 17.65ft³ its just under soundqubeds recommended air space they suggest 9.00ft³ for 2 15s so I think I'd b OK on that note the guys designed the design to their specs

Is that 17cuft net? If not you far off from where you need to be. Did they include bracing? Double baffle? 4 15s will want between 150-300" of port area roughly.

basically 4 15s will need a box built like the walls you see in Suv's stuffed into your trunk plus the 4 batts, amp, wiring, and fuse holders.

not trying to shove a dagger through what seems to be a pipe dream but I extremely doubt you will fit 4+ sheets worth of mdf/birch, 4 15" subs, bracing, batteries and amps. I would have a hard time doing that in my hatchback with a wall and rear seat delete.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
