A long drive is longer than a short drive lol. What I meant by it since caps don't carry the reserve batteries do you don't worry about them getting hot after a while. Being that they simply haven't been as tested in daily setups as they have been for SPL. I know snowdrifter and slammin have as well. under a daily load even if you full tilt everywhere the caps will be fine. no matter how long or how hard you play. your subs or alternator will give out first.
