Ninja_v1.0
Sky High Car Audio 2/0, best price for wire I've ever seen. Don't screw around with 4/0 welding cable, it's not worth it. http://skyhighcaraudio.net/details#cid=292012 so based on your statement then it would not be worth it for him to get what you actually suggested.. facking awesome When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. REH
You're jumping the gun by a lot here asking for recommendations on what wire to run when you don't have any equipment listed. Sure, larger wire is always a good thing.. even though it may be "overkill" but it absolutely won't hurt. Though as others have suggested, you're better off getting a high quality 2/0 car audio cable for flexibility than some standard 4/0 welding cable. And you'll probably get a slightly better price point for it also.
[email protected]
I couldnt find this thread earlier so i posted a new one and ppl are chewing me out for it but oh well sorry and as far as equipment goes I'm going to be building my system in a pontiac grand am with my box built into my trunk ported and tuned no sound whatsoever will be going into my trunk all into the cabin I'm still planning but thats why im here asking questions i just need some experinced guys to fill int the blanks here is what I have planned out so far along the lines of equipment: 2xDD 3515g 2xM3b clamped at about 8k not exact 320a HO mechman XS battery quantity ????? this is just for my subs i havent decided on what amp and what components ill go with for my mids and highs. I just wanted to make sure my eletrical was strong enough to handle the strain and if the 4/0 would make a major difference. Also if anyone could recommend any good crossovers, mids, highs and a good amp to push them im open to suggestions i been looking around and im indecisive.
