Identifying a electrical bottleneck

Sorry Ross, she won't have amps until I get to Houston. Bring a m4 with you and we will go on a couple hour boom cruise.

also didnt read cause im lazy but can you do 2 runs of 4/0 knu?

and by runs you mean 1 wire and not 1 pos wire and 1 neg wire is considered a run?

I'm allowed 2 total runs of cable for powering my system. They can be both power, they can be both ground (how that would work I don't know?) or they can be one of each. However if its larger then 1/0 .... Say skyhigh 2/0.. Or knu 4/0... Those would count as both of my runs.

use this site to get an idea. under 3-4% is what id shoot for if I was you. If you are like me, I have under 1% voltage drop at 350A load

Well that is interesting. According to that calculator... Even if I could supply a full 300a I would still be 13.5v at my amp because of the wire resistance.

keep in mind that is with no heat in the equation. also what size conductor were you using and are you sure length was accurate?
