csshakka Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Right now I just use the conventional two wash bucket method with a wash mitt to clean my car and a separate mitt for wheel wells and rims. Considering the possibility of adding a pressure washer to my tool collection for rinsing, cleaning rims, wheel wells, and undercarriage. For those of you who have one, is it worth it or is it a waste of money?

They work well on small jobs, even around the house, and aren't as much trouble to maintain as a gas powered unit. But... if you have any other kind of toy like a 4 wheeler, etc or, if you own your home and have to maintenance it... get a gas powered unit. And if you get the turbo nozzle for a good gas powered unit, you can strip anything off anything else with little to no effort. I have a 3000psi Honda with a turbo nozzle and I can turn a black mildewed concrete driveway into brand new concrete with no chemicals at all.
