I'm hoping it wasn't a 14.4v alt haha damn yeah 16v. and thats with a slow response rate stinger. cant imagine what it really peaked at. cold at idle this alt would charge at 14.2. stock one charged at 14.5. Guest Posted June 26, 2014 Report Share Posted June 26, 2014 jeeze thats shitty regulation. which i figured. but gotta ask even a seasoned member. yeah both of my ebay alts were like that. one that was 10a over stock and the other which was "165" amps. both didnt turn on when idling warm in drive. my stock alt was an external fan nippondenso i believe. ebay ones were internal fan and different casing. they bolted right up though.
