tacomaguy1
Where would the screws attach...go through the roof? Maybe if its thin wood it might conform Team Flex Issues
fecupe2001
Where would the screws attach...go through the roof? Maybe if its thin wood it might conform believe it or not, i was actually thinking about going trough the roof and just cut those things on top of the room, fixing that and then painting roof with bedliner or something, my roof already has tons of holes and cracks because of the bass lol I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. TeamHT
First I welded steel ribs to the roof which caused bubbling on the roof that had to be sanded down and repainted. But from the frame you could easily lay sheets down (wood or metal your choice) mad then foam. But when I planned out my rebuild I needed every bit of air space I could muster and scratched that idea. I was going for extreme rigidity but then at some point I realized 0 flex is impossible when you're loud, lol Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? fox_racin4
use multiple thinner layers so it bends. i used 1/2" on the roof lots of glue and lots of foam.if your not worried about holes in the roof... just use carrage bolts. but youll still want thin layers so you dont suck the roof down. ( you want the wood to bend to the shape of roof, not the roof to bend to wood) 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole

tacomaguy1
Yeah that would work good if you can get the kerf right Multiple thin layers would be just as good Team Flex Issues
