Phaeton
How do you do the big 3 how hard is it? not that hard. took me an hour because i was drunk and i soldered everything and shrink wrap. get 0 gauge from your: +alternator to + battery -frame/chassis to - battery -engine block to - battery remember to ground your amps to your frame/chassis rather than the body. the body is paper thin and not that great of a ground. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

soundstream15
So your cousin had his wire burn up so you did the same thing?? Smh. Your wire is to small for that amp, you need 1/0 gauge wire. The big 3 is pretty easy. Look on YouTube. You need to ditch that Dann cap, it's not doing you good, if your voltage is right and your dropping that low, you could burn your amp up. Take the cap out and rehook your amp back you and I'm sure results might be better. Your clipping and starving the amp.

soundstream15
Make sure bass boost is off Run all 1/0g including your big 3 and get rid of your cap. Your problem will most likely be solved my friend. 8awg is for like 500w max. I use that for speaker wire..
