Well it sure has been a while, Im going to get caught up and hopefully keep it up to date.

I eventually got some mids for my front stage. I wanted it to be just temporary for now so I will only be using four Crescendo PWX 6.5's and Two Ft1's.

I was shocked when these came in the mail, I ordered them on a Monday morning and I received them in little to no time, very fast shipping from crescendo!!! They also came with a lanyard

I did have a little problem with one of the tweets, it looked like the USPS guy must have dropped the box/ ran it over with their truck, because there was a dent across some of the fins on the back. I emailed Crescendo with my problem, and right away I got a reply with regards to shipping them back to receive a new one or fix the one I have. they were very fast and I received the other one quickly!! I was very happy with the great customer service with Crescendo!

Then I got another package

Then I picked up a Circle jig! Man it was a good decision, it made creating curves and holes a breeze! I also got some lightweight filler.

I also ordered some SUNFLASH, I really like this resin because of the time you can work with it, then just walk right outside and watch it set up and cure. Thanks West Coast Car Audio and Steve and everybody else who helped with this stuff, it works GREAT!

Your charging issue. Do you have the loop sensor on your ground cable like I do?

So at first I wanted to keep my doors looking some what stock, so I decided to use the grills as a template and then glass them up. I cut out part of the door so that way the magnets would fit.

I used aluminum foil and painters tape to mask off my door so that way the resin wouldnt get everywhere.

I messed around with what I wanted to do placement wise, and because these where just temporary I would just keep the two 6.5's and no super tweet in the door yet.

This was just the first door, I didnt take very many pictures of the whole process, but ill post what I have. The second door I did turned out way better!

Nope, all I did was added the sense to the positive stud on the alt. What would the loop sensor do?

It reads the alts charging rate or some shit and adjusts like that. That was the problrm.on my silverado. When I did the big 3 I didn't put the ground through it and I was charging at 15.2. N

Hmm interesting, yeah I think mine goes thru over by the battery, is yours just closer to the alt? Because when it gets really cold out, I still sometimes charge prety high.

If it's really cold then a 15.2 charge for a little while is ok. Ot doesn't get that cold here though

Since I now have a mids amp, I cleaned up my head unit wiring lol, took out all of the garbage for the stock amp and speakers.

Soldered and heat shrink-ed up!

Then I started the second door.

I added the fist layer of mat and continued building it up.

Good starting mold!

Here is how I temporarily mounted them, just used some short screws.

I added extra fiberglass mat to the inside of them, they are solid

I added the speakers to see what they would look like.

BOOM both doors ready to be tested

So I was messing around with all of the connections on and around my engine, to make sure they were all good to go and I noticed that there was a chunk missing from one of my plug wires, so it was time to replace em. The first set of wires I got were too long, they would hit my steering column and AC lines. They were the right part number and everything for my engine......so I sent them back and noticed that some brands say they should work and don't....cool....I guess now I know lol
