So I posted what I thought was a Rf t2000bd amp a couple days ago in another section. Come to find out its a Rf t8002 class ab amp. Can I use this amp to power a hdc3 12. And how would I do it. My sub is a d2. After reading a lot it sounds like it would work better then my planet audio ac3000.1. I don't know how to bridge. my sub's are wired to one ohm right now and when I hook up the amp it sounds like shit. Any help would be great.

wire your coils in series. not the most ideal sub/amp combo but it will work. You definitely need more power for that sub. With that sub and amp combo you will get around 500 watts.

As I posted in the other thread, wire to 4 ohms and on the amp there is s diagram above the channels. If there isn't a diagram wire to 4ohms then put the pos from sub to one Ch then neg to other Ch.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
