rsfm089 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 So I posted what I thought was a Rf t2000bd amp a couple days ago in another section. Come to find out its a Rf t8002 class ab amp. Can I use this amp to power a hdc3 12. And how would I do it. My sub is a d2. After reading a lot it sounds like it would work better then my planet audio ac3000.1. I don't know how to bridge. my sub's are wired to one ohm right now and when I hook up the amp it sounds like shit. Any help would be great.
MrSkippyJ Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 wire your coils in series. not the most ideal sub/amp combo but it will work. You definitely need more power for that sub. With that sub and amp combo you will get around 500 watts. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/314615/Rockford-Fosgate-Power-Elite-T15002.html?page=9#manual F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
alaskanzx5 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 As I posted in the other thread, wire to 4 ohms and on the amp there is s diagram above the channels. If there isn't a diagram wire to 4ohms then put the pos from sub to one Ch then neg to other Ch. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
