bench
Hello I am wondering how wire a kicker warhorse so I'm above 2ohm. I have dual 1.4 ohm subwoofers and was told I could wire up. Is it possible? Thanks
bbeljefe
You can wire the coils and subs in series for a final load of 5.6Ω. Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe
martydmb
Wire each sub parallel. Each sub will be .7ohm in box. Then wire outside of box series and will bring you subs to 1.4 ohm final. Or vic versa the wiring. Series in the bos then parallel outside. 05 dodge magnum rt DEH-80PRS Rockford fosgate T600.4 st200 tweeters Sundown Neo Pro 6.5 v2's 2 Saz-3500v2- Toolmaker dual 1/0 inputs 2 Sundown ZV4 12" D1 1/0 Sky High Power wire OFC 3 XS D3100- Toolmaker battery terminals Mechman 320 Amp Alt Smd Voltmeter KnuKoncept 1/0 OFC

bench
I was under the impression I could wire it to 2.8 ohms a side. Which I guess is the same as 5.6 total? I just dont know how that would look Thanks for the help
truthsayer
If you have one subwoofer that is a dvc 1.4ohm, yes you can wire to 2.8 ohms. If you have two subs with dvc 1.4 then you can wire them both up to 5.6ohm or down to 1.4ohm truthsayer
bench
Ya sorry I have two subs. Is there a diagram I could follow to wore them at 5.6? Thanks
truthsayer
this is just an example, dont worry that it shows dvc 2ohm , wire like this and you will get the 5.6ohm load your looking for. truthsayer
